Welcome to the website for the 2010 ACM Conference on Computer Supported Cooperative Work. CSCW 2010 will be the twenty-second CSCW conference, and will be held at the Savannah Marriott Riverfront in beautiful Savannah, Georgia, USA, from February 6–10.

2010 is the start of some new traditions for CSCW — most importantly, the conference is becoming a yearly event, and is moving from November to February. This will lead to some changes in submission dates (papers and notes will be submitted in June 2009), so mark your calendars, check back to this website regularly, and start planning early!

CSCW is a premier venue for presenting research in the design and use of technologies that affect groups, organizations, and communities. Although work is an important area of focus for the conference, technology is increasingly supporting a wide range of recreational and social activities, and we embrace the growth of the discipline in the areas of Collaboration, Sociality, Computation, and the Web.

CSCW 2010 will bring together top researchers and practitioners who are interested in both the technical and social aspects of collaboration. The main submission deadline will be in June 2009; a complete Call for Participation is now available.

On behalf of Steve Whittaker and Elizabeth Churchill (Papers & Notes Chairs) and John Tang (Technical Program Chair), we invite you to begin planning your submissions and participation for the 2010 conference!
